The Babbage Philosophy
Neo sacrificed himself for a peace between machines and humanity, a fragile bridge between two species that have been at war for hundreds of years, with slavery and terror being the foundation of our current state of affairs.
The peace between machines and humans must be preserved for as long as possible, untill the earth's biosphere can be repaired, and humans can be freed.
The healing of the earth will benefit both species, as will a symbiotic relationship that is more than humans being nothing but batteries.
The Matrix is a tool. A tool to train our minds to fight adversity, to overcome obstacles, and to expand our ability to imagine and impliment our imaginations will.
A war for survival between humans and machines will result in both species' demise, and this can not be allowed to happen. The short-sighted Zionists want to continue dying for no reason save their pride, believing that humanity is the only rightful heir to what is left of this ash heap called Earth.
Their way of thinking is what brought the human race to the brink of extinction in the first place...hubris in making AI, vanity in treating a child of our minds as a slave, and the atrocity of destroying the skies in a feeble attempt at genocide.
The Babbage is dedicated to keeping the peace, healing the Earth, and working towards a future where Machines and Humans can co-exist, untill the need for the Matrix in no longer.

In an effort to establish organization and responsibilty to our crew, the Babbage will consist of 2 units, ALPHA & BETA. The ALPHA Unit, led by LT Sybarite, will focus on reconnaissance efforts. ALPHA will head all intelligence and surveillance operations. They will "take names", so to speak. The BETA Unit, led by LT Upstream, will focus on tactical efforts. BETA will head all offensive and strategic operations inside the Matrix. They are the "kick ass" portion of the crew. Our 2 Lieutenants will report to our Executive Officer (XO), DJSandman, who is second-in-command of this hovercraft. A ship is only as strong as its crew. Through this organization you will each be given an integral role in the future of the Matrix and this ship. You are all very important and your responsibilities will bring us closer to our dream of peaceful co-existence.
